Pineapple Park
Pineapple Park opened a 700-square-foot location Aug. 1 at the Boulevard mall.
The island-themed dessert spot offers Dole Whips, the Dole brand soft-serve frozen treat offered at Disneyland and Disney World. The kosher, fat-free, dairy-free dessert is offered in seven flavors and is also available in specialty concoctions like the Dole Whip Pineapple Upside Down Cake.
Pineapple Park is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

The Flame Steakhouse
El Cortez dining staple The Flame Steakhouse is expected to close at the end of the month.
The restaurant is scheduled to shutter Aug. 31. The closure will allow the El Cortez to introduce Siegel’s 1941, a 24-hour restaurant expected to open in fall.
Menu items including The Flame’s roasted prime rib and seasonal stone crab will be served at Siegel’s 1941.

Columbia Sportswear
Retailer Columbia Sportswear is expected to open a new location this week.
The company plans to unveil its 8,823-square-foot store Friday at Las Vegas South Premium Outlets, 7400 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Suite 9.
The Oregon-based brand sells apparel, footwear, accessories and equipment aimed at fans of the outdoors.
According to a spokesperson, the new location will be open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Ted Baker London
British clothing company Ted Baker London opened its third Nevada location Friday.
The 2,387-square-foot store in the Fashion Show mall offers women’s clothing, menswear and accessories.
Designed with Vegas and casinos in mind, the store has a handmade chandelier, smoked glass mirrors and decorative casino tables.
Ted Baker London is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday.

Verizon Wireless Centennial Center Smart Store
Verizon Wireless opened its first Smart Store in Nevada on Thursday.
The location, which allows customers to try out new mobile devices including smartphones and tablets, occupies 4,000 square feet at 7891 W. Tropical Parkway.
The new store sells accessories, offers hands-on displays and allows customers to interact with technology specialists.
The Verizon Wireless Centennial Center Smart Store is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
