An Asian dining experience has arrived at the Linq. F.A.M.E., a venue that includes a pan-Asian market as well as a restaurant, opened its first level to the public last month.
Also around town, Eva Longoria’s female-focused steakhouse closed its doors as a Hawaii-based cookie company arrived on the mainland.
F.A.M.E. — Food·Art·Music·Entertainment — made its debut in May at the Linq. The 12,000-square-foot location includes an Asian market on the main floor with quick-order food stations, entertainment and a stationary food truck-shaped kiosk.
A restaurant called Fōchun will occupy the upper level, and a retail store will offer F.A.M.E. and Las Vegas souvenirs. The market opens at 11 a.m.
She by Morton’s
A collaboration between Landry’s and actress Eva Longoria, the business was originally designed as a nightlife destination, but a reimagination of the space after the nightclub closed wasn't successful.
According to a statement from Scott Marshall, chief operating officer of the restaurant, the attempt to bring in a new theme was “met with considerable resistance” from the landlord, which led the restaurant to sell the space back.
Honolulu Cookie Company
Known for its pineapple-shaped shortbread cookies, the business offers special decorations for their Las Vegas treats. Packaging and cookies feature heart, spade, diamond and club shapes. Cookies come in flavors including Kona coffee, pineapple, mango, coconut and macadamia nut.
Honolulu Cookie Company is open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.
Bound by Salvatore
The new lobby bar at the Cromwell, Bound by Salvatore, opened Tuesday.
The venue’s drink selection includes the Breakfast Martini, a gin cocktail mixed with orange marmalade, and the Cromwell Fizz, made with Macallan Fine Oak Whiskey, lemon juice, orange bitters and topped with Moët and Chandon Impérial Champagne.
The new location is the work of Salvatore Calabrese, an internationally known bartender.
Operating hours for Bound by Salvatore vary.
Drai's Beach Club Nightclub
With a rooftop pool deck, palm trees and an indoor space, the venue is a day club and a nightclub.
The pool deck is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, while the beach club is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
The nightclub is open from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday through Sunday and will soon launch a Tuesday night swim party.
