Meanwhile, modern Japanese eatery Hachi said farewell last week as Yard House opened at the Linq.

Truffles N Bacon Café
Truffles N Bacon Café, an eatery that attempts to merge affordability with refined tastes, opened last month inside of Antiques at the Market.
Located at 6665 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, the restaurant’s offerings include salads, soups and a menu of updated classic sandwiches, such as the Not Your Mama's Grilled Cheese, which combines short rib with cheese, rapini and bacon jam.
Truffles N Bacon Café is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
Japanese restaurant Hachi at the Red Rock Resort closed last week.
Station Casinos spokeswoman Lori Nelson said the company is looking to refresh its dining options and that the venue’s new occupant will be announced shortly.
Hachi became known among local foodies for its casual atmosphere, modern cuisine and sushi offerings.
Original Diva, a full-service salon and hair extensions retailer, opened its flagship U.S. salon at Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile Shops early last month.
The 1,840-square-foot location will include five hair stations, two stations for makeup services and a manicure/nail service bar.
The shop is open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.
Goodwill of Southern Nevada
Goodwill of Southern Nevada, Inc. opened its newest retail store Friday.
The location at 7420 S. Rainbow Blvd. includes 12,000 square feet of sales space as well as a drive-thru donation center.
It is the 13th Goodwill retail store in Southern Nevada.
Yard House, the chain restaurant known for its hefty beer selection, opened a new location Friday inside of the Linq.
The new spot, which covers 18,000 square feet, offers 160 beers on tap and will be serving up local brews from places such as Big Dog Brewing Company, Joseph James Brewing Company and Tenaya Creek Brewery.
The restaurant will also serve up a late-night menu in addition to its full menu that will feature dishes such as the Pastrami Dog and Monte Cristo Pops after 10 p.m. The location is open from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
