A Brazilian steakhouse opens its doors, and a Mediterranean restaurant promises meat-eater and vegan-friendly foods.

Meanwhile, something new is brewing in Henderson.

    • Jolly Beans Cafe opens to the public on Friday, Nov. 6, 2015. at 2016 Via Firenze, Henderson, Nevada.

      Master-planned community Inspirada welcomed a new coffee shop with the Nov. 6 opening of Jolly Beans Café.

      The Henderson hangout, at 2016 Via Firenze Ave., near Volunteer Boulevard, is about 1,300 square feet.

      It offers lattes, cappuccinos, teas, shaved ice and fruit smoothies.

      Hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

    • Fogo de Chão

      Southern Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chão debuted Nov. 5 at Downtown Summerlin.

      The restaurant, which has a 240-person capacity including patio and bar seating, is the company’s second Las Vegas-area location and 27th U.S. restaurant.

      The business is at 10975 Oval Park Drive, Suite D201, near South Pavilion Center Drive.

      It focuses on “fire-roasting high-quality meats utilizing the centuries-old Southern Brazilian cooking technique of churrasco,” according to a news release.

      The dining spot is open for lunch, happy hour and dinner.

    • Club celebrates final weekend at Wynn

      Tryst Nightclub at the Wynn said goodbye Nov. 7, shuttering after 10 years.

      The club’s closure is making way for a new concept: Intrigue.

      The 14,000-square-foot club will feature a “high-energy dancing environment” as well as a 1,200-foot private, social media-free club.

      It is expected to open April 28, the 11th anniversary of the Wynn’s debut.

    • The Shawarma House Mediterranean Grill opened Nov. 1, 2015, at 5861 W. Craig Road.

      Shawarma House Mediterranean Grill opened Nov. 1.

      The business, at 5861 W. Craig Road, near North Jones Boulevard, serves Mediterranean dishes including shawarma, kabobs and lamb chops.

      The eatery also offers dishes that are vegan and vegetarian friendly.

      It is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

    • Conn's debuts 100th store at 2201 Civic Center Drive, North Las Vegas.

      Home goods retailer Conn’s debuted the company’s 100th location nationwide and second in the Las Vegas Valley last month.

      The 52,766-square-foot North Las Vegas store, at 2201 Civic Center Drive, near Las Vegas Boulevard North, opened Oct. 16.

      The business sells furniture, home appliances, décor, electronics and more.

      Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

      Nationally, Conn’s plans to open up to 25 new stores in its 2017 fiscal year, which will include another valley store.
