Being one of the initial 142 visitors at Ikea during its grand opening next week will have its perks.
During the store’s opening May 18, each of the first 42 customers will be gifted an EKTORP sofa, while the next 100 will receive a free POANG armchair, the company announced today. The sofa retails for $499; the chair goes from $129-$159.
On May 19, the first 42 customers will receive a free mattress, the company said. On May 20, the first 42 will get a year supply of meatball meals.
The Las Vegas location, 6500 Ikea Way near Sunset Road and Durango Drive, is the 42nd Ikea store opened in the United States, the company said.
Customers looking to take advantage of the freebies can begin lining up at 9 a.m. Monday, the company said.
