Small-business owners looking to make connections to grow their enterprise are encouraged to attend an event Thursday at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Committed to Our Business Community (CTOBC) will be held from 7:30 a.m to 1 p.m. in the South Hall. The fair’s concept is to connect small businesses with government agencies, hospitality industry representatives and other local business resources, in an effort to help the businesses secure contracts.
“”Our community’s growth and success relies on these local businesses,” said Yolanda C. Jones, president of the Regional Business Development Advisory Council, which will host the event.
CTOBC will feature more than 60 exhibitors. In addition to the fair, a panel discussion will feature information about Nevada Gov eMarketplace, the online system through which contractors and suppliers can receive requests for bids or proposals from participating public entities.
The program is free to participate.
