Boyd Gaming announced today the launch of its new mobile sports-betting application.

Called B Connected Sports, Boyd’s app is available for download on iOS and Android devices. Bettors have to enroll in person at one of six Boyd properties in the valley: The Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast, Sam’s Town, Fremont or California.

After loading money into their account, players are can place sports bets through B Connected as long as they’re in Nevada. They can cash out at any Boyd sports book.

“This new app, designed with speed and unparalleled ease of use in mind, combines the experience of our proven international mobile gaming partners and a large amount of customer testing feedback to provide the newest mobile betting experience in the market today — one that is quick, easy to use and convenient,” Boyd sports book Director Bob Scucci said in a company statement.

Scucci said the app features players’ “favorite types of bets,” including parlay bets.

Station Casinos, South Point, CG Technology and William Hill also offer sports betting apps.

Boyd spokesman David Strow said the app distinguishes itself from others because of its speed — namely the ease with which it determines whether a player is in Nevada — and “ease of use.”
