Bar-top versions of table games introduced at PT’s

Special to Vegas Inc, Golden Entertainment Inc.

Craps is among StarBar’s electronic video table game titles at Sierra Gold, one of the taverns operated by Golden Entertainment, Inc.

PT’s Entertainment will soon roll out bar-top video versions of craps, roulette, blackjack, and baccarat at their PT’s, Sean Patrick’s and Sierra Gold locations.

Usually, gamblers have to travel downtown, to the Strip, or to a large locals casino to feed their green felt fix. However, after a test period at taverns owned by PT’s Entertainment, the Nevada Gaming Control Board recently approved the StarBar game which has video versions of the iconic gambling games.

In addition to passing regulatory muster, the field trial helped PT's executives gauge if there was even any customer interest in playing video versions of these games on the barter.

“We learned during the field trial that guests have a real demand for a table game experience in our tavern locations,” said Jay Fennel, vice president of gaming development for Golden Entertainment. “Craps was the No. 1 game played on the StarBar machines by our guests during the field trial.”

The games also feature variations of video poker and keno as well as chances for side bets and multiple video slot game titles.

In an exclusive “first to market” deal with Interblock, the developer of the games, PT’s will debut them at eight PT’s Entertainment tavern locations.

Following that, PT’s Entertainment will bring them to more of its locations and then finally, to non-PT’s Entertainment locations through the company’s distributed gaming arm.
