Wynn Resorts Vice President of Design Roger Thomas was named the Art Design Icon of the Year by the Academy of Art University for his interior design work in the hospitality industry. He accepted the award at the university and spoke with students about his career. Besides designing Wynn Las Vegas and Wynn Macau, Thomas designed the Bellagio, Treasure Island and Golden Nugget.

He previously worked at the Children’s Specialty Center of Nevada in Las Vegas and the Children’s Hospital of Orange County in California. Sarah Gannon joined CCCN as a marketing specialist. She previously worked as an account executive at Hospitality eBusiness Strategies (HeBS Digital) in Las Vegas. Additionally, Dr. Rupesh J. Parikh, an oncologist at CCCN, received the 2012 “Talk of the Town” Customer Satisfaction Award based on patient reviews. Parikh has been practicing medical oncology for more than 10 years and has a special interest in breast, colon and lung cancer, as well as gynecologic oncology and sarcomas.

She also has owned Accretive Consulting, a consulting and campaign management firm, since 2004.
