Maze leads business development efforts, while Dasari serves as senior portfolio manager. Both will focus on strengthening BNY Mellon’s presence in Las Vegas. Both previously worked at Wells Fargo’s Private Bank.

      Mark Stark, CEO of Prudential Americana Group and Prudential Arizona Properties, was named in the Swanepoel Power 200 list of the “Most Powerful People In Residential Real Estate.” Stark, who ranked No. 116, was the only Nevadan recognized on the list.

    • Deborah Danielson attended the Barron’s Top Women Advisors summit to promote industry best practices and advocate for the value of advice to the investing public. Barron’s ranks Danielson among the top 100 women financial advisers in the United States.

      Louis M. Bubala III, a partner in Armstrong Teasdale’s financial and real estate services practice group, was selected co-chair of the American Bankruptcy Institute’s second annual Western Consumer Bankruptcy Conference. This is his second year as co-chair.

    • Veterinarian Dr. Christopher Yach, of West Flamingo Animal Hospital, is one of three finalists for Petplan pet insurance’s 2014 “Vet of the Year Award.”

    • Melissa Beutler is a partner at Holland & Hart. At 31, she is the firm’s youngest partner. Beutler is a construction lawyer who represents owners and contractors on large commercial and industrial projects.

    • Sandra Green was promoted to president from chief operating officer at SGEi, a global consulting group.

    • Scott Zeiger, co-founding partner of Base Entertainment, was named president and managing director of Cirque du Soleil’s new division, Cirque du Soleil Theatrical, based in New York City.

    • Anna Pikovsky Auerbach is vice president of strategy and special projects at Moonridge Group. She previously worked at the Bridgespan Group, a nonprofit advisory organization.

    • David Bart, executive vice president and general manager of Southern Wine and Spirits of Nevada, resigned.

    • Robert Eglet, a partner at Eglet Wall Christiansen Trial Attorneys, was named “Trial Lawyer of the Year” by the National Trial Lawyers Association.

    • Frank Fahrenkopf, former president and CEO of the American Gaming Association, joined Los Angeles online gaming company CAMS as an adviser. He also is non-executive director on the board of BMM International.

    • Several new members joined the Las Vegas Green Chamber of Commerce: Rena Hughes, Dickerson Law Group; Shawn Kish, Green Business Partners; Nancy Mehta, Cartridge World; Heather Mongie, Exit Realty Platinum Group; Loren Pawson, EMF Power Pro; Dennis Druhe, Mobile Tracking and Consulting Services; Steve Speech, Las Vegas Convention Center SpringHill Suites Marriott; Michael Coldwell, Braintrust Marketing + Communications; and Richard Cronk, U.S. Oil Solutions.

    • Donna Davis is the Small Business Administration’s regional administrator for Region IX, which includes Nevada.

    • Thomas Jingoli, chief compliance officer for Konami Gaming, will serve a second year as president of the board of directors for the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers. One-year terms were approved for: first vice president Orrin Edidin, group CEO at Williams Interactive; second vice president Mick Roemer, senior vice president of sales at Multimedia Games; secretary Mark Dunn, executive vice president and general counsel at Aristocrat Technologies; treasurer Tom Nieman, vice president of global marketing at JCM Global; co-general counsel Neil H. Friedman, senior counsel at International Game Technology; and co-general counsel AC Ansani, assistant general counsel at Bally Technologies. AGEM represents manufacturers and suppliers.

    • Henderson Mayor Andy Hafen was appointed vice chair of the National League of Cities 2014 finance, administration and intergovernmental relations steering committee, which develops policy positions on national economic policy, financial assistance programs, liability insurance, intergovernmental relations, labor relations and other topics.

    • Susan Lockett was promoted to vice president of business development at Veridocs. A 16-year veteran of the gaming industry, she previously worked as director of business development.

    • David Lee is the first broker to receive the Excellence in Safety award from the Insurance Company of the West Group Nevada. Lee is a certified risk architect and master workers’ compensation adviser with Assurance Ltd. ICW Group Nevada.

    • Summerlin Hospital opened a cardiac rehabilitation center for patients who survived a heart attack, open heart surgery, cardiac catheterization or other serious cardiac conditions. The center supervisor is Heather Brookman, R.N., and the medical director is Dr. Paul Heeren.
