      Jennifer Turner and Daniel Lainhart are retail market sales managers at Nevada State Bank. They will support region managers and branch teams.

    • Paul Wedesky is senior vice president of audio-visual services at Global Experience Specialists, an exhibition, event and entertainment provider. He has more than 25 years of multimedia experience in the trade show and meetings industry. He most recently was senior vice president of national operations for PSAV and had been senior vice president of PSAV’s sales, convention and trade show division.

      Irene Wandtke was promoted to director from CPA at Gerety & Associates, CPAs.

    • Thomas Sheets, an attorney at McDonald Carano Wilson and former general counsel of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, was appointed to the Nevada Tax Commission by Gov. Brian Sandoval. Sheets returns to the commission, where he was chairman for six years before leaving to work for FERC.

      John Krieger

      John Krieger, a partner at Lewis Roca Rothgerber, was appointed to the board of trustees of the Justice League of Nevada by the State Bar of Nevada Board of Governors. The Justice League addresses the need for funding of legal services to the poor and disadvantaged in Nevada.

    • Bristol Ellington, Henderson’s assistant city manager, received the Credentialed Manager designation from the International City/County Management Association. Ellington is one of about 1,300 local government management professionals credentialed through the program. To receive the credential, a member must have significant experience as a senior management executive in local government; have earned a degree, preferably in public administration or a related field; and demonstrated a commitment to high standards of integrity and to lifelong learning and professional development.

    • Three nurses with HealthCare Partners Nevada, a physician-run network of primary, specialty and urgent care providers, received awards at the 2013 Nurse of the Year event. Chief Nursing Officer Patti Berry was named Nurse of the Year. Jamie Simmons, LPN, won and Judith Stephens, RN, was runner-up in the Managed Care category. About 700 nurses were nominated for awards in 25 categories.

    • Owen Whyte is a business banking market executive for Nevada and Utah at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He has more than 16 years of banking experience, most recently in New York City.

    • Mark James resigned as CEO of Frias Transportation Management and Frias affiliates. He will now manage an affiliated company, Frias Transportation Infrastructure, which develops software products such as RideIntegrity and Ride Genie.

    • Mark Lipparelli, former chairman of the Nevada State Gaming Control Board, joined the National Center for Responsible Gaming board of directors.

    • Liz Clare is a principal and Jacqueline Young is a senior vice president at Avison Young. Clare and Young both previously worked at Cushman & Wakefield in Las Vegas. They have a combined 36 years of commercial real estate experience.

    • Marc Magliarditi is a brokerage associate at the Equity Group. He launched his real estate development career as vice president of acquisitions for DII Capital, a regional real estate development and investment company, and worked at Shuman Mulcahy Group Realty. Magliarditi had an extensive hockey career, playing professionally for 10 years, including four seasons with the Wranglers.

    • Ron Kass was promoted to president and CEO at Hunter Douglas, a manufacturer of custom window fashions in the U.S. and Canada. Kass joined the company in 2005. Coast Drapery, headquartered in Las Vegas, is a Hunter Douglas company.

    • Christian Raymer is director of development at Trauma Intervention Program of Southern Nevada. He previously worked at GiveSmart in Atlanta.

    • Seamus McGill, who spent five years as chief operating officer of Aristocrat Americas, is president of Joingo. He will lead sales, marketing and growth for the mobile software company.

    • Kelly Petersen is president and Tami Hance is vice president of Nevada Women’s Philanthropy. Petersen, a member of NWP since 2008, was vice president for the 2013 grant cycle that ended with a $350,000 grant to Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth. Hance is a founding member who has been grant monitoring chairwoman and board secretary.

    • Dr. Michael Daubs is the first chief of the new orthopaedic surgery division at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Daubs, a 1989 alumnus of the university, specializes in spinal reconstructive surgery and the treatment of scoliosis. He most recently was with the Department of Orthopaedics at UCLA and has held positions in orthopaedics with Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Utah.

    • Rossi Ralenkotter, president and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, received the Pinnacle Award from the International Association of Exhibitions and Events. IAEE recognizes professionals who have made outstanding contributions to the exhibitions and events industry.

    • Adelbert Wadsworth is a physician assistant at Urology Specialists of Nevada. He graduated from Touro University Nevada with a master’s in physician assistant studies and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
