Robert Watson is corporate director of marketing for Navegante, a casino management company. For the past year, he was director of marketing at Hooters casino and has experience with Station Casinos.

Joe Boylan joined American Realty. He specializes in marketing businesses for sale and commercial properties.

Las Vegas Municipal Court Judge Cynthia Leung was elected 2014 president of the Nevada Judges of Limited Jurisdiction. The organization represents Nevada justices of the peace and municipal court judges and provides judicial educational seminars each year.

Jesse Scott is a senior public relations specialist and Lauren Sasso is an assistant public relations specialist at Firm Public Relations and Marketing. Scott was previously the head of communications for Las Vegas entertainer Terry Fator. Sasso spent the past two years in public relations with entertainment, hospitality and corporate clients.

Dr. Samir Bangalore has passed his epilepsy specialty boards through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, making him the only board-certified epileptologist in Nevada. He is the medical director at the Epilepsy Center at Sunrise Hospital.

Brian Massie, the Light Group’s corporate executive chef, was the February cover star of Food and Beverage magazine. Massie oversees and creates menus for six restaurants on the Strip: Fix, Stack, Brand, Diablo’s Mexican Cantina, Red Square and Citizens Kitchen and Bar.

Millie Barfield is an associate attorney at Sundvick Legacy Center. She has practiced law in Nevada for more than 20 years.

Simon James was promoted to associate at Rider Levett Bucknall, an international property and construction consultancy firm.

Attorney Rebecca Miller joined Cooper Coons, a law firm that focuses on estate planning, asset protection and intellectual property. She previously led the Family Law Department at Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen, Nelson and Sanders.

Attorney Michael Troiano opened a law office at 10161 Park Run Drive, Suite 150, Las Vegas. He focuses on criminal defense, DUI defense and traffic ticket matters.

Bruce Cannon, a franchisee for Win Home Inspection, was honored for 10 years of service. He was one of seven franchisees recognized at Win’s annual conference.

New members of the Destination Services Association include: Cassy Bagnall and Sabrina Villa, both special events managers, Carmine’s NYC; Jennifer Baker, manager, Soleil Management; Maggie Cupp, director of citywide restaurant group sales, Caesars Entertainment; Eric Mendelsohn, director of business development, Las Vegas Tickets; Kevin Morris, representative, KJB; Amber Smith, representative, Paid 2 Save Network; and Bobby Townsend, owner, Classic Concierges and Event Services.

Harsch Investment Properties, a privately held real estate and investment company, promoted four local executives. John Ramous is senior vice president and regional manager. He joined Harsch in 2003 and has more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience. Reed Gottesman is vice president and regional director of leasing. He joined Harsch in 2008. Kathy Rose is vice president and director of property management, and Keitha Anderson is assistant vice president of leasing.

Bailey Kennedy partner Dennis Kennedy and associate attorney Kelly Stout received Clark County Bar Association Volunteer Appreciation awards. Kennedy received the Volunteer of the Year award for his support of the association, and Stout received the Circle of Support Award for her work with the New Lawyers Committee.

Chris Keating is executive chef at Border Grill Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay. He has more than 15 years of culinary experience in the U.S. and Bahamas. He most recently worked at Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas.

Teresa McKee, interim CEO of the Nevada Association of Realtors, received the Certified Association Executive credential, the highest award in the association management industry recognizing the top 5 percent of association executives nationwide.

Ariel Land is marketing and investor relations coordinator at the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance. She has experience in the advertising, promotions and special events industry.

Hillary Steinberg is an associate at the MDL Group in the retail division.

DownEast Home and Clothing opened in Silverado Ranch Plaza at Eastern Avenue and Silverado Ranch Boulevard. It’s the company’s first location in Southern Nevada to carry home furnishings in addition to clothing lines. It also has locations in the District at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson and in Boca Park in Las Vegas.

The new board of directors for the Nevada Restaurant Association include: Ed Lepere of Lawry’s the Prime Rib, chairman of the board; Sebastien Silvestri of Venetian and Palazzo, vice chair of restaurants; Gustav Mauler of Spiedini Ristorante, secretary/treasurer; and Sherry Holman of NV Energy, vice chair of allieds. Additionally, Steven Weitman of Wynn Las Vegas received the outstanding service award, Gino Ferraro of Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar was named Patriot of the Year, Joe Micatrotto of Micatrotto Restaurant Group was named director emeritus and Holly Mae Lindsay of Emeril’s Restaurants Las Vegas received a gavel plaque for her term as chairwoman of the Education Foundation.

Chris Culver of Discount Dumpsters has joined the Las Vegas Green Chamber of Commerce.

Andrew Doughman is communications director for the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance. He has written for the Las Vegas Sun, the Nevada News Bureau, the Seattle Times, the Orlando Sentinel and the Spartanburg (S.C.) Herald-Journal. Doughman covered the Nevada Legislature for the past two sessions.

Darwin Dizon and L. Ben Packer were the top onsite sales executives for 2013 at Pordes Residential Sales and Marketing. They produced more than half of all sales at Veer Towers in 2013 — more than 30 sales for about $28 million. Additionally, Jennifer Graff was named a senior sales executive for Pordes. She has more than six years of experience selling luxury high-rise condominiums.

Robert Swadkins is interim general manager, and Ashley Gray is director of marketing at Silver Sevens Casino. Swadkins previously was vice president and assistant general manager at Primm Valley Casino Resorts, while Gray was the advertising manager at Primm Valley.

Base Entertainment and Alchemy Production Group joined forces to create Alchemy Entertainment Management. It will focus on live production management across all genres as well as the management of new content development for producers of live entertainment. Carl Pasbjerg will be CEO.

Four employees at Colliers International–Las Vegas received promotions. Sam Newman is now an associate broker, Chris Lane is a senior associate, Jennifer Maximino is a property assistant and Scott Jun is a senior graphic designer.

Erin McMullen is director of government and public affairs at R&R Partners. She previously served as an associate attorney with the government affairs group of Snell & Wilmer.
