‘Billion Dollar Buyer’ slots introduced

Slot machines themed after the CNBC show “Billion Dollar Buyer,” starring Golden Nugget Casinos chairman and CEO Tilman Fertitta, are being introduced at the company’s casinos.

Players have the chance to strike a deal with the Billion Dollar Buyer and win up to 10,000 credits with the three-reel, five-line Double Jackpot Triple Blazing 7’s slot machine.

“I’ve really enjoyed being a part of the show and having an impact on these small businesses,” Fertitta said. “Starting a business is always a gamble, and I had to find a way to commemorate this experience at my casinos.”

The machines will exclusively be at Golden Nugget Las Vegas and at the company’s casinos in Laughlin, Atlantic City, Biloxi, Miss. and Lake Charles, La.

CNBC’s “Billion Dollar Buyer” returns for its second season at 10 p.m. Nov. 22. with 12 new episodes. In each hourlong episode, Fertitta will spends time with two small businesses to decide whether to place a purchase order with one of the companies, both, or neither.
