Casino MonteLago at Lake Las Vegas in Henderson announced plans Wednesday to open a sports book on Sept. 1, just as football betting heats up.
The property, which re-opened in May, said the 24-hour Palio Sports Book will be operated by the South Point hotel-casino under plans submitted to the Nevada Gaming Commission.
The book features 35 LCDs and odds boards; and rewards will be offered to sports gamblers who are members of the Club MonteLago loyalty program, Casino MonteLago said.
