Pinnacle Entertainment Inc. said Monday it plans to add a 200-room hotel, a 10,000 square-foot event center and a covered parking structure to its River City Casino in St. Louis.
The Las Vegas-based company said the $82 million expansion is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2012 and will be complete in the second half of 2013. The expansion will create nearly 100 permanent jobs and 350 construction-related jobs, the company said.
River City Casino opened in March 2010. The 90,000 square-foot facility, which is 10 miles south of downtown St. Louis, has 2,100 slot machines and 55 table games.
Pinnacle shares fell 10 cents to $11.15 in afternoon trading.
