New restaurants, 200 jobs coming to Excalibur

Excalibur's new Castle Walk Food Court, which opens Tuesday, will introduce several restaurants to the Strip for the first time, including Cinnabon, Hot Dog on a Stick, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Pick Up Stix and Schlotzsky’s.

The food court also is expected to bring 200 new jobs to Las Vegas.

Other restaurants moving into the Excalibur include Auntie Anne's, Tropical Smoothie Café, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and Popcornopolis. A sports lounge will feature a Big Chill bar and oversized TVs, and face painting and spray tattoos will be available.

The food court was developed by Feel Good Brands, run by Lincoln Spoor, of Las Vegas.

Entertainers from shows at the Excalibur and nearby Luxor, along with members of the the Las Vegas Philharmonic and former Mayor Oscar Goodman, will celebrate the food court's opening with a ceremony Tuesday.
