All the slides are up and running at the forthcoming Wet ‘n’ Wild Las Vegas.

As the park’s Memorial Day opening approaches, landscapers have been carving out the finishing touches on the grounds of the Summerlin park, said Trevor Wilson, the park’s director of sales and marketing.

“All the slides are up. All the fiberglass is up,” Wilson said. “Now it’s just a lot of ground work.”

Lifeguards have been training off site, but Wilson said he expects to have workers training at the 41-acre park along Fort Apache Road several days before opening.

Wet ‘n’ Wild was one of two water parks expected to open on Memorial Day weekend, but a series of construction troubles recently pushed the opening of Henderson’s Cowabunga Bay Water Park to spring 2014.

The Summerlin park opens exclusively to Gold Pass holders May 25 to 27. From May 28 to June 2, season pass holders may join Gold Pass holders. Single-day tickets will be on sale from June 3 to Sept. 30.

“We’re expecting a large crowd,” Wilson said. “We’re limiting attendance to make sure it’s a safe and fun experience for everyone.”

Here’s a look at the season schedule for Wet ‘n’ wild, at 7055 S. Fort Apache Road:
