Openings and closings: Casinos change their dining lineup

Casinos constantly shuffle their gaming and entertainment options to keep things fresh and new.

Food and dining is no exception.

The M Resort says goodbye to two eateries and plans to welcome two more, while the Forum Shops shuttered one of its dining standbys.

Elsewhere in the valley, golfers in Henderson have a new place to get gear, while another gym has popped up to help people get fit.

The restaurant opened in 2011 and was part of the New York-based steak and seafood chain.

There is no word yet on what will take over the space. It's rumored that a Border Grill might move in, but restaurant officials wouldn't confirm that.

Marinelli’s at the M closed earlier this month to make room for a new restaurant that will be revealed on the Food Network's “Restaurant Express.”

The new eatery is scheduled to open later this year.

A smaller Marinelli's Pasta Bar will open in a different spot in the resort.

It will be open 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
