Treasure Island will shut down the free Sirens of TI show for two months to begin building a three-story shopping center on the Las Vegas Strip.

The show will be closed from Oct. 21 to Dec. 25, resuming Dec. 26 with nightly performances at 5:30, 7, 8:30 and 10 p.m.

Clark County commissioners recently gave the Strip resort the OK to move forward with the 46,000-square-foot center, which will eliminate a third of the Sirens lagoon.

Spread over 19.5 acres, the development will include a pharmacy, retail shops, restaurants and an automobile salesroom. Potential tenants have not been named.
