Describe your business.

We ensure the highest quality topical numbing product by mandating the highest standards in manufacturing, packaging, delivery and customer service. Our product is manufactured in our FDA-approved laboratory using the highest quality of lidocaine and tetracaine in our proprietary lipoid and aqueous cream mixtures. Our product has become the industry standard for painless tattoo procedures and is also widely used for painless laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal and bikini waxing.

How did you come up with the idea for this product?

As a doctor widely involved in sports and as the ringside doctor for boxing and UFC events, my interest in meticulous tattoo artwork and the deep emotions and stories behind tattoos only grew stronger. After years of hearing fighters and friends discuss the severity of pain involved in many of their tattoo procedures, and statements that getting hit was less painful than getting a tattoo, I knew that I could resolve this dilemma.

How did you go about developing it?

Years of research and collaboration with top tattoo artists, skin specialists, chemists and customer feedback.

Where/how are you selling it? How much does it cost?

Our product can be ordered by same-day express shipping online or picked up directly from our corporate office. Our product is also widely available at various tattoo shops.

It is sold for $39.50 per 30-gram jar, $35.50 for 2 jars and at $30 per jar for bulk orders.

What do the fighters think about your side job since many of them get tattoos?

They know that I am passionate about the fight world but that I am also passionate about health, safety and tattoo perfection.

Who are your customers?

We have a wide range of customers including fighters, dancers, teachers, police officers, office workers, as well as individuals from all walks of life. In addition, many of our clients include tattoo artists who prefer working on people who are calm, relaxed and hold still, thereby allowing for uninterrupted work.

What makes your business unique?

Our product is unique in its ability to allow for vibrant uptake and deposition of ink.

It is also unique in its ability to dramatically reduce post procedure inflammation and peeling due to its additional anti-inflammatory properties.

What obstacles has your business overcome?

The initially skeptical attitude that such a product didn’t exist took time to overcome and is no longer an issue. Moreover, over the past couple of years, the mindset of some individuals arguing that enduring the pain gives someone the right to have a tattoo has faded into irrelevance. Many of the toughest people in the world prefer enjoying a pain-free tattoo experience as they have nothing to “prove.”

What have you learned from the recession?

If one never gives up on their dreams, continues to persevere and maintains a passion for extraordinary customer service, the recession will not hold you back.
