Caesars plans jobs fair to fill hospitality positions at the Linq

The High Roller will anchor The Linq shopping and food area when completed between The Quad and The Flamingo on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014.

Caesars Entertainment Corp. is playing host to a job fair next week to fill more than 550 hospitality jobs at the Linq.

The Linq is Caesars's new $550 million retail, entertainment and dining district on the Las Vegas Strip. It includes the Las Vegas High Roller observation wheel. It will create 1,500 jobs in Las Vegas, Caesar’s officials said. The job fair, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 18 in the Sunset Ballroom at Flamingo Las Vegas, includes employers from businesses at the Linq and other Caesars developments.

Attendees will have the opportunity to apply and interview for a variety of jobs that includes High Roller ambassadors, Linq concierge ambassadors, sales positions, bartenders, servers, hosts, security officers and management positions among other jobs, officials said.

The development also will include a new boutique hotel and several new restaurants, including outlets by celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis and restaurateur Guy Fieri. Representatives from Fieri’s restaurant and the new boutique hotel will be present at the job fair to meet with candidates.

Applicants are encouraged to bring at least three copies of their resume and dress in business professional attire. Because of limited parking at Flamingo Las Vegas, those attending the jobs fair are encouraged to park at the Quad.
