A new ice cream shop promoting imaginative flavors is open.
Blvd Creamery is the final venue to open along the transformed Monte Carlo façade. The parlor promises uncommon flavor combinations such as jalapeno-infused watermelon sorbet.
Also new to the market: Yumz Gourmet Frozen Yogurt and Dynamite, a clothing store.

Blvd Creamery
Ice cream parlor Blvd Creamery opened May 1 at the Monte Carlo.
The 3,052-square-foot shop offers 24 ice cream and sorbet flavors churned by the resort’s pastry team. Guests can choose from traditional flavors or try combination ice creams such as the B.T.A., which includes avocado, oven-roasted tomatoes and bacon. Cereal-flavored milk and doughnut ice cream sandwiches also are on the menu.
Blvd Creamery is open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week.

T.J. Maxx
Retailer T.J. Maxx plans to open a new location May 15.
The 25,000-square-foot store at 2190 N. Rainbow Blvd., Las Vegas, will replace a store at 4486 N. Rancho Drive.
The new shop will be open 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Outside Inn
The Outside Inn restaurant and bar closed April 29.
Located at 9941 W. Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas, the gaming tavern offered bar-top gaming machines, a pool table and more than 80 beers.
According to its website, the pub had been in business for more than 10 years.

Yumz Gourmet Frozen Yogurt
Yumz Gourmet Frozen Yogurt opened its first location in the western United States on May 2.
The self-serve frozen yogurt store, located at 6135 S. Fort Apache Road, Suite 400, Las Vegas, includes a 600-square-foot party room.
Yumz rotates more than 55 flavors of tart, regular, no-sugar-added and sorbet products with more than 75 toppings.

Dynamite
Canadian fashion retailer Groupe Dynamite opened a new store May 1.
Dynamite, which targets women, is at the Fashion Show Mall.
The shop is the first Dynamite in Las Vegas.
