    • Mundo

Mundo, a restaurant at the World Market Center hailed for its Latin cuisine, closed Friday night.

The principal owners of the restaurant shared a message on the restaurant's Facebook page, saying they and the World Market Center “could not agree upon terms that would allow Mundo to continue operating at its current location.”

The owners directed Mundo lovers to their downtown restaurant, Mingo Kitchen & Lounge, at 1017 S. First St., Suite 180, near South Main Street.

However, they also shared that they're looking to keep Mundo alive.

“We want to keep this thing going and are currently evaluating potential locations and looking for investors,” the message said.
