People on the Move: Dec. 11-17

Ron Moore is senior project manager at Grand Canyon Development Partners. Brian Graham is a project coordinator.

Dan Stewart is vice president of development for the Gardner Co.’s recently opened Southern Nevada office. Gardner is the master developer for the UNLV Research Foundation’s Harry Reid Research and Technology Park. Slater Hanifan Group are the civil engineers in the development for Phase One of the park. Ed Vance & Associates are the architects.

Cushman & Wakefield Commerce’s Daniel Palmeri, senior director-tenant advisory group, achieved the SIOR office designation and Amy Ogden and Danielle Steffen, both directors of industrial and investments, achieved their SIOR industrial designation awarded by the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. Pete Janemark received the national Certified Commercial Investment Member designation.

The Penta Building Group hired Alex Ortega, Rossela Learing and Josiah Hepworth. Ortega and Learing are project engineers. Hempworth is a project engineer intern. Aaron Plante, Chris Brooks, Eunice Diestro, Carrie Walker and Jeff Johnson were promoted at Penta. Plante and Diestro are senior project engineers. Brooks is a preconstruction project executive. Walker is a general accountant. Johnson is area field manager.

Bobbi Miracle is the Commercial Alliance Las Vegas Member of the Year for 2016. Miracle is the senior vice president of Commercial Executives Real Estate Services in Las Vegas, specializing in the leasing and sale of office, medical, retail and industrial properties. She previously served as president-elect and as a director of CALV’s board. Jennifer Ott is the CALV president for 2017. She is an executive vice president for retail sales and leasing at ROI Commercial Real Estate in Las Vegas. She previously served as president-elect and as a director of CALV. For 2017, CALV’s immediate past president will be Soozi Jones Walker of Commercial Executives Real Estate Services. Other members of the 2017 CALV board of directors are president-elect Chris McGarey, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, Nevada Properties; treasurer Paul Bell, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, Nevada; director Melissa Campanella, Logic Commercial Real Estate; director Robin Civish, ROI Commercial Real Estate; director Cathy Jones, Sun Commercial Real Estate; and director Tom Lisiewski, Your Real Estate Company.

Dave Teator is DC Building Group’s vice president of operations. Previously, he served as senior project manager.

Burke Construction Group completed construction on an expanded warehouse facility for the Frito Lay Las Vegas Distribution Center on behalf of Con-Real. The approximately 30,000-square-foot expansion used tilt wall panel construction similar to the existing warehouse building. The two areas now function as one common warehouse space. It was designed by architect William E. Franz.

Frederick Robertus is vice president of architecture and design at Bergman Walls & Associates. Ben Yi Xu, Heather Chapa and Jisoo Kim are designers.

Colliers International - Las Vegas Research and GIS Manager John Matt Stater was named Colliers International’s North America Researcher of the Year.

Northcap opened a multifamily-unit real esate division, led by Devin Lee, Antone Brazill and Robin Willett.

Lisa Page is accounting administrator at DC Building Group.

Jody Walker Belsick, Treasea Wolf and the staff of Walker Engineering recently joined forces with Kimley-Horn, a national engineering and land development firm.

Cathy Sheehy is the commissioner of the state Division of Mortgage Lending.

DC Building Group CEO Shawn Danoski has been reappointed as Chairman of the Nevada Construction Education Commission.

Park Place Infiniti completed a multimillion-dollar renovation of its six-acre property at 5555 W. Sahara Ave.

Alexia Crowley, senior associate at MDL Group, received her CCIM designation.

Andrew Kilduff is Colliers International-Las Vegas’ associate vice president.

Construction began on the Post Acute Medical Rehabilitation Hospital of Centennial Hills, the newest addition to Centennial Hills Center, a 24.36-acre commercial mixed-use development offering medical and professional offices. The build-to-suit facility is the first in Nevada for PAM, a specialty hospital company that provides high-quality care in specialty and rehabilitation hospitals. Sina Companies and IREPLV are the developers of Centennial Hills Center.

The Penta Building Group topped off the Ascaya Clubhouse’s outer structure. The 20,000 square-foot Ascaya clubhouse is scheduled to open spring 2017.
