Cantor Gaming brings mobile gambling to California

Cantor Gaming, which operates sports books in several Las Vegas casinos, announced today that it is entering the California market.

Cantor struck a deal with Colusa Casino Resort, an Indian casino in Colusa, a town north of Sacramento.

But sports betting, which Cantor is best known for, isn't included in the deal. Rather, the company will provide a mobile gaming system for the casino.

Games will include Xtra Odds Blackjack and Xtra Odds Baccarat, as well as new games Cantor is preparing to release.

"California represents a tremendous opportunity for our business, and we look forward to exploring further opportunities within this market," Cantor CEO Lee Amaitis said in a statement.

Cantor's mobile technology gaming was introduced in Nevada in 2009.
