      Two local attorneys have been named to the first edition of Benchmark Litigation’s Top 250 Women in Litigation. They are:

      Melissa Beutler, of Holland & Hart, counsels her clients in construction law and on large construction projects, from the creation of transaction documents to the resolution of project claims. She is LEED accredited and regularly writes and speaks on contract drafting and construction industry issues.

      Laurel E. Davis, of Fennemore Craig Jones Vargas, is a member of the firm’s management committee and a commercial litigation attorney who specializes in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.

      Karl O. Riley, an associate at Snell & Wilmer, has been appointed to serve as co-chair of the 2012-13 membership committee for the National Bar Association Young Lawyers’ Division. Riley will be responsible for the YLD’s relationship with the National Black Law Student Association and for developing programs and strategies to increase YLD’s membership.

    • William Levy, a shareholder with Marquis Aurbach Coffing, has earned an AV pre-eminent peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

      Wayne Nippe

      Constance Akridge, Matthew Milone and Wayne R. Nippe have joined the health care practice of Holland & Hart. Akridge has represented insurance and health care clients in litigation and on regulatory and administrative matters for more than 20 years. Milone counsels clients in health care and insurance law and has trial experience at both the state and federal levels in Nevada and California. Nippe brings more than 20 years of experience in the health care and health insurance fields and offers legal services to doctors, nurses, clinical operations managers and managed care organizations.

      Gatski Commercial Real Estate Services named Joseph Anderson investment sales and leasing associate. He focuses on property acquisitions, dispositions and leasing. Prior to joining Gatski, Anderson worked for the Equity Group and One Queensridge Place in Summerlin. Anderson received his B.S. in business from UNLV. Olivia Fisher was named a property manager at Gatski. She is LEED accredited and worked as a property manager for Rothwell Gornt Co.–Las Vegas, where she specialized in stabilizing distressed properties. Fisher has a master’s degree in business management and is a court-appointed special advocate for the Las Vegas court district.

    • Jason Cribbs has been named vice president of sales at NEWave, a software supplier for the gaming industry. Cribbs previously served as director of business development for hospitality technology company House Advantage. Before that, he worked for SPB Partners in Las Vegas.
