South Point’s George Bailey was named Chef of the Year and Jessica Iannotti Student Culinarian of the Year by the American Culinary Federation of Las Vegas.

Dan Giraldo is local market delivery market manager at Bank of America.

Andrea Small-Howard is chief science officer and a member of the board of directors at Growblox Sciences, a biotechnology and research company.

J. Brin Gibson, an attorney at Lionel Sawyer and Collins, was reappointed by Gov. Brian Sandoval to a second term on the Colorado River Commission.

Michael LaBar and Michael Shaffner are vice presidents for capital markets at Avison Young. They both previously were vice presidents of investments at Marcus and Millichap.

Dr. Amy Darukhanavala will practice at Dignity Health Medical Group’s Dream Fund Pediatric Endocrinology Clinic in Henderson. She is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology. The clinic is at 10001 S. Eastern Avenue, Suite 209.

Lynne Adams is an assistant vice president and Small Business Administration underwriter, Christina Leavitt is a part-time teller and vault teller, Sandra White is a loan document support specialist and Michelle Nunez is a teller at Meadows Bank. Adams previously worked at First Security Bank, Mutual of Omaha Bank, Bank of Las Vegas, Nevada State Bank and Bank of America. Leavitt previously was with Bank of Nevada. White has worked at First Security Bank and Community Bank, and Nunez previously was with US Bank.

Jody VanHorn is a member services representative at the Clark County Credit Union. She has five years of experience working at banks and credit unions.

Rick Sperber is senior operations manager and Susan Holland is specialty leasing manager at Howard Hughes Corp. Sperber has almost 30 years of shopping center experience and has worked at Fashion Show Mall and the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. Holland has 15 years of retail marketing and specialty leasing experience and previously worked as specialty leasing manager at Town Square.

Dr. Darren Swenson is chief medical officer of MountainView Hospital. He previously worked as director of medical affairs at Nevada for IPC – the Hospitalist Company. Swenson also is a founding partner and past chief executive officer and chief medical officer at Optima Credentialing.

Dr. David Golan is medical director at Aliante Integrated Physical Medicine. After a brief retirement in Maui, he returned to the mainland to pursue a career in age management medicine. He also is medical director at OptimAge Age Management.

Philip Lauzon was promoted to global creative account director and Saul Stokes was promoted to design director of the southwest division of MC2. Lauzon is a 20-year veteran of exhibit, event, environmental and strategic design, while Stokes has more than 14 years of experience as a designer domestically and internationally.

Monica Campa is assistant property manager at Molasky Corporate Center. She has more than 17 years of experience managing properties.

Sarah Johnson is a creative strategist for Las Vegas: The Game. She is responsible for co-producing events, writing scripts, scouting talent, copy editing and building company infrastructure.

Jessica Sayles, principal of Houldsworth, Russo and Company, was named a Rising Star at the National Association of Woman Business Owners of Southern Nevada’s Women of Distinction Awards.

Jennifer McDonnell was promoted to vice president of marketing and communications at MountainView Hospital. She joined the hospital in November 2012 and has 15 years of experience in public relations, marketing and journalism.

Louise Trent is a physical therapist at Matt Smith Physical Therapy. She works at 9499 W. Charleston Blvd., Suite 220, Las Vegas. Trent has more than 20 years of experience.
