As if the Cosmopolitan’s suites with private terraces overlooking the Strip weren’t exclusive enough, the resort has unveiled a whole other set of pricey rooms.

The Cosmopolitan has opened its Lanai suites for public reservations. The suites have typically been reserved for high rollers and VIP guests until they were released on the website Tuesday.

The two-story, 800-square-foot suites are on the 14th floor of the West Tower and have direct access to one of the resort’s pools and spa from the terrace.

The Lanai suites feature private everything — private elevators, private Jacuzzis and private 550-square-foot terraces. They also feature the amenities of Cosmopolitan’s other suites, including kitchens, dining areas and living rooms, but are designed in a red and brown color scheme, a departure from the blues and whites of most rooms as the resort.

Rates for the Lanai suites start at $750 per night but are as high as $1,500 a night during some weekends in May.

  1. I assume they don't have enough high rollers to fill the rooms, or they wouldn't be offered up to mere commoners...

    New bumper sticker campaign:

  2. These are very nice suites right outside of the Marquee Dayclub pool. We previewed them awhile ago and glad the public gets to stay in them. There are only about 14 of them and the bathrooms are insanely huge. These suites will put all others to shame with there size and amenities. I'm sure the Cosmopolitan will never opens up there real VIP suites which are on the 58th floor of the East Tower.

  3. definitely gonna have to check one out soon
