Eight-Year-Old Fremont Street Performer will get the Surprise of Her Life when BMG/Chrysalis Recording Artist and American Idol Contestant, Jordyn Mallory, Makes a Surprise Visit to Fremont Street to Perform with Her this Saturday, July 2, 2016, from 12PM to 1PM, in front of Third Street Stage, Space J.
Rita Angel Taylor (RAT) posted her cover of “Boat Friend” on YouTube and expressed her obsession for the original artist, Jordyn Mallory, along with a desire for them to become BFF. When Jordyn actually called, she had RAT screaming for joy! Now RAT will get an even bigger surprise when Jordyn shows up to perform with her on Fremont Street, where she will present RAT with an autographed photo and t-shirt. Jordyn said, “How could I resist? She’s adorbs! Only eight years old, and with talent like that…she blew me away! I can’t wait to see her face.”
Jordyn Mallory has opened for Loretta Lynn, Crystal Gayle, Jake Owen, Eric Church, Emerson Drive, Ashton Shephard, Colt Ford and many more. As an American Idol contestant on Season 11, Jordyn received three big “Yes” votes from Steven Tyler, Randy Jackson and Jennifer Lopez, then went on to sign a major publishing deal with BMG/Chrysalis. Jordyn was recently hand-picked by CMT as one of their top artists, along with Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood (American Idol, Season 4, winner), and Zac Brown Band. Jordyn also recently placed “Number 1” on CMT's most visited artists, ahead of JD Shelburne, Thomas Rhett, and “The Voice” judge, Blake Shelton.
