Press Release: Electric scooter maker using crowdfunding to expand production

Electric scooter maker using crowdfunding to expand production

Money raised online will help expand production of an increasingly popular form of transportation.

Clinton, CT — Scooter maker Lazer Electric Motorsports, Inc. is using the crowdfunding website Kickstarter to assist in raising capital to expand production of its LAZAR PULSE eScooter. The popular device uses state of the art technology to provide low cost, responsive and 100% pollution-free transportation.

The company has two production facilities in Connecticut and will open a third in Florida.

“Our goal has been to design and build safe, fast and powerful electric scooters,” says company CEO Frances Adamowicz. “The LAZER PULSE can conquer any hill, operate on or off road, and travel more than twenty miles on a single charge. Plus, it offers three power options. Initial marketplace reaction has been very positive.”

She notes that the LAZER PULSE comes with a more powerful and reliable motor than any of its similarly priced competitors. It also features disk brakes for quicker, safer braking and a lithium-ion battery that charges rapidly. Buyers can choose either steel or aluminum scooter frames.

“Even experienced eScooter riders are astonished by the power and handling of the LAZER PULSE,” says Adamowicz.

The focus of her company’s Kickstarter campaign is to fund expanded production to meet higher than expected market demand for the LAZER PULSE, and to allow development of new models and equipment options.

“Our secret sauce is our lithium-ion battery packs. Our Founder, Ronald Adamowicz, built the world's largest EV Drag Racing battery pack. He now uses his technical expertise to advance eScooter standards in lithium technology. All our battery packs are built with Samsung 18650 lithium-ion cylindrical cells. These feature a C-rating of 3C.”
