CRAZY FOR YOU is the story of Bobby Child, a well-to-do 1930s playboy, whose dream in life is to escape banking and dance. Sent to Deadrock, Nevada to foreclose on the mortgage of the failing Gaiety Theatre, Bobby falls for local girl, Polly Baker, and sets out to impress her. Posing as New York theatre producer "Zangler", he puts on a show to save the theatre. But turning the local cowboys into dancers is the least of his problems when the real Zangler shows up with Bobby's mother and fiancée in tow! Memorable Gershwin tunes include I Can't Be Bothered Now, Bidin' My Time, I Got Rhythm, Naughty Baby, They Can't Take That Away from Me, But Not for Me, Nice Work if You Can Get It, Embraceable You and Someone to Watch Over Me. It's a high energy comedy which includes mistaken identity, plot twists, fabulous dance numbers and classic Gershwin music. Produced and Directed by PS Productions – Philip Shelburne
Tickets can be purchased in advance for $12 at the UNLV Performing Arts Box Office, Prestige Travel’s Summerlin location at 7550 W. Lake Mead Blvd. (Buffalo and Lake Mead) or online at unlvtickets.com or ShowTix4u.com . Park entrance after 5 pm is free with show ticket. Parking lot opens at 5 pm. Meadow opens at 6 pm. A limited number of tickets are available at the gate the night of the show for $20.
