LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - The Southern Nevada Chapter of the Project Management Institute or PMI-SNC is pleased to announce its finalists for the annual Project Manager of the Year Award. Local organizations and businesses recognized the significant contributions being made by their project managers and submitted nominations for this esteemed award.

The following candidates have been chosen as the top three finalists for Project Manager of the Year!
 Adam Godorov, PMP, Sr. Project Manager, NV Energy
 Allen Hale, PMP, IT Project Manager, Allegiant Air
 Linda Kozik, PMP, Delivery Assurance Manager, Hewlett-Packard Company

The following projects have been chosen as the top three finalists for Project of the Year!
 McCarran International Airport Terminal 3 Project
 NV Energy TGB Infrastructure Project
 NV Energy Landfill Energy Project

The 2012 Project & Project Manager of the Year will be announced at the awards banquet on November 15, 2012 at The Tuscany Suites & Casino in Las Vegas

The keynote speaker for this event is Randy Printz, Presenting an Overview of the High Roller Observation Wheel Project as the centerpiece of Caesars Entertainment Corporation’s Project Linq on the Las Vegas Strip. Ticket cost is $50 per person and includes the program and dinner. Tickets are on sale now at www.pmi-snc.org. Banquet registration will start at 5:30pm. The program is scheduled from 6:30pm-9:30pm.

PMI-SNC encourages all professionals, and especially Project Management Professionals, to attend the banquet to show support for local project management community. Not only is this is a great networking opportunity, this event raises funds for education and financial assistance programs. PMI-SNC is a non-profit organization and is offering sponsorship packages, program advertising, and donations prizes.
