FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Covenant Care and Burke Construction Group are pleased to announce the completion of Silver Hills Health Care Center’s new Rehabilitation Wing. To celebrate this occasion, Silver Hills Health Care Center will hold their Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at their expanded facility at 3450 North Buffalo Drive, which is open to the community. Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman and Mayor Pro Tem Stavros Anthony will be taking part in the grand opening festivities.
With the opening of this expanded 155 bed facility, 25 to 30 new jobs have been added to the Las Vegas economy. The new Silver Hills Health Care Rehabilitation Wing was built to increase the level of care for residents throughout the Las Vegas Valley. Silver Hills Health Care Center offers 24 hour skilled nursing and rehabilitation services from staff dedicated to treating people with dignity and respect. Our V.I.P. Homeward Bound Rehab Program has one of the highest success rates of sending patients home or to a lower level of care. Our short term rehab services help individuals regain their highest level of independence, improve their current abilities and make their stay as comfortable as possible.
“We’ve made it our goal to transform typical health services into Healthcare with Heart.” said Kerry Laviolette, RN, BS, CEO/Administrator of Silver Hills Health Care Center. “I am looking forward to providing a new work environment for our employees which will enhance their abilities to provide quality patient care, resulting in positive outcomes. Please come by our new facility to meet our staff and take a tour.”
Project construction was managed by Burke Construction Group Project Manager Scott Bonebrake. The project was designed by JMA Architecture and engineering was provided by Wright Engineers. “Burke is pleased to be a part of this state of the art rehabilitation facility along with JMA Architecture and Wright Engineers,” said Burke Construction Group President & CEO, Kevin Burke. “Covenant Care is a leader in the Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation industry and their unparalleled commitment to serve the Las Vegas community is inspiring.”
