ALICE Receptionist Receives Tech Cocktail's ‘Best in Show’ Aaward at SXSW

(Las Vegas) —WinTech, LLC, a leading Las Vegas-based technology business, received the ‘Best in Show, Late Stage’ award at Tech Cocktail’s SXSW Startup Celebration event sponsored by CEA and .CO at the South by Southwest® (SXSW®) Conference and Festival held recently in Austin, Tex. With 29 start-up companies from around the country competing pitching a panel of judges, ALICE Receptionist was crowned ‘Best in Show’ Late Stage Start-up.
WinTech’s ALICE Receptionist was awarded ‘Best in Show, Late Stage’ for being poised to revolutionize visitor management for office buildings and commercial buildings. ALICE, which stands for A Live Interactive Communication Experience, enables businesses to present live customer service video agents on any number of kiosks, video displays, and other digital signage devices, enabling two-way or one-way video interaction with customers and employees.
The winner was chosen from a panel of high-profile judges and invited guest; including investors, media, fellow entrepreneurs, and thought leaders. As the winner, WinTech received 8,000 Business ExtrAA from American Airlines (equivalent to four roundtrips), an iPad case and hosting, marketing and other assistance for one year from Softlayer.
The SXSW conference fosters creative and professional growth alike, and is the premier destination for discovery and technology companies to come together to network and feature products and services. While there, WinTech featured its innovative technology, including ALICE Receptionist and rolled out their new SaaS payment model. The ALICE Receptionist focuses on connecting the visitor with a live employee and information hub while serving as a window through which visitors and employees can have natural face-to-face communication instantly. ALICE offers a high-tech option to personally greet visitors but at a fraction of the cost of having a full-time receptionist.
