Local musicians unite for Reggae Fest

LAS VEGAS, NV – GoodTime Productions & Entertainment and BAR+BISTRO@ The Arts Factory have joined forces to present an eight hour community celebration of positive vibrations. “ONEness Vibe”, “Lady Reiko & The Sin City Prophets”, “ Najja Dread & Lion Pride”, “Stan Rankin T & Meshach”, “The What Knotts”, and “Big Bamboo”, are the bands on the bill for the evening of March 31st. This all-ages/free event is scheduled from 4pm-12 midnight. Along with the great live Reggae DJ “Papa George C-Lecta” will also be spinning Reggae grooves to provide seamless entertainment.
Local vendors and artists displaying and selling their goods and BAR+BISTRO@ The Arts Factory provides for a unique element of culture and festival. The bands will perform outside on a large patio with trees, city views, live art creations, vendors , along with all the luxury of food and drink freshly served by the renowned Bar+Bistro, not to mention the endless galleries of Modern art in the Arts Factory. The best part is it is free, no admission!
This event will mark the second time that local reggae band ONEness Vibe bassist/founder, Chris Buentiempo, has produced this type of event. On November 13, 2011 was the first “Reggae Fest at The Arts Factory”. The event was quite successful.
“My primary intentions in creating a Reggae fest here at the arts factory are to, bring local reggae musicians together as community in unity, to create good positive feel-good vibes through great live reggae music, and for EVERYONE to have a great time!”, said Chris Buentiempo . This all-ages event is a synergy of music, food, art , and atmosphere located in the heart of the Las Vegas 18b Arts district at the Bar + Bistro @ the Arts Factory 107 E. Charleston Blvd.
