MassMedia Corporate Communications Hires Accounting Clerk

HENDERSON, Nev. (May 28, 2013) – Paula Yakubik, managing partner of MassMedia Corporate Communications, a full-service public relations, advertising and marketing firm, recently announced the hiring of Karen Schroeder as accounting clerk.
In her role, Schroeder acts as executive assistant to MassMedia’s managing partner and accounting manager. Her responsibilities primarily include working with accounts payable and human resources.

Schroeder boasts an accomplished career of improving accounting services at a number of companies. Her experience includes working for 12 years as bookkeeper and office manager at Chicago-based textile manufacturer Ben Rose Inc., where she transitioned the company from manual to computer accounting systems. She also worked 11 years as accounting manager and assistant to the president of D.O. Tool & Manufacturing in Chicago. Prior to joining MassMedia, Schroeder spent six and a half years as controller and office manager at Chef Jay’s Food Products in Las Vegas, where she reorganized administrative staff and updated the company’s accounting procedures.
