Heather Cook is a licensed broker for Housing Angels, which opened a Las Vegas office in March.
Cook and her husband, Housing Angels Founder Dave Dziedzic,
launched Housing Angels in 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona. The company works by pairing "angel" investors with struggling homeowners. The investors purchase an underwater home in a short sale, allowing the original homeowners to remain in the house as tenants with the option to purchase the home back in two to four years.
As renters, they benefit from reduced monthly payments and the stability of staying in their home. As owners, the investors benefit from stable, dedicated tenants and a built-in profit.
In just three years, Housing Angels has conducted more than 1,000 short sales and helped 20 homeowners purchase their homes, at no charge to the homeowner. Housing Angels is currently working with dozens of Las Vegas homeowners.
Cook manages the short sale department and oversees a team of negotiators that work with banks to issue short sale payoff approvals. Using the latest technology and education she and her team have received hundreds of short sale approval letters.
Cook spent 10 years with International high tech firms marketing
and selling software. Her role with the Housing Angels involves
managing the daily operations. She has expertise in marketing and
operations including planning, budgeting and implementing. Cook holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from
the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and is a licensed Real Estate broker in Arizona and Nevada. She is also a Realtor in the state of California. Credentials include CDPE and MSSC.
The Las Vegas office of Housing Angels is located at 8840 S. Maryland Parkway, Suite 105A, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
