FASTER THAN WALKING. MORE EFFICIENT THAN A VEHICLE.
GROWING THE CULTURE.
SinCity Portage, the first pedal powered courier service in Downtown Las Vegas has arrived.

Downtown Las Vegas has all of the elements of a burgeoning city – government agencies,
professional offices, residential areas, vibrant arts scene, expanding entertainment and retail
environments. And like most major metropolitan urban areas there are also traffic laden streets
and parking woes.
The one thing that could easily help alleviate the aforementioned issues – bike couriers seemed
to be missing, until now.
SinCity Portage, a bicycle courier service with a team of courteous, licensed and insured riders,
is now serving the Downtown Las Vegas area with fast, reliable and reasonably-priced pick-up
and delivery service. Currently, hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 3 pm.
As a former Downtown Las Vegas resident, SinCity Portage founder, Matt Reyes saw first-hand
the need for an environmentally friendly and efficient service that makes downtown living more
convenient for those who live and/or work in the area, while helping to connect the downtown
community. “I rode my bike everywhere, which made it easy for me to dash out and pick-up
dinner or drop off a package at FedEx, but many of my neighbors didn’t bike and found it too
cumbersome to drive and find a place to park, so by default they would patronize businesses
outside of downtown,” said Reyes.
Reyes hopes to encourage people to invest in the downtown community by utilizing bike
couriers. “It’s environmentally clean and it calms the traffic on the city streets all while promoting
health and wellness.”
“I personally feel like if this city is ready to grow up, it has to have bike couriers and embrace a
bike messenger culture.
Bike couriers are the people that unite the community they serve,
” said
Reyes. “The downtown area in particularly is segregated by scene. You have the law offices
and residential area disconnected from the art district, which is disconnected from Fremont and
Downtown 3rd districts.”
SinCity Portage’s services include pick-up and delivery of food, groceries, goods and retail.
They will even pick-up and drop-off recyclables (weight restrictions apply). Rates start as low as
$4. Complete pricing and procedures for food orders, retail purchases and other services are
available at www.sincityportage.com or by calling 702.625.3220.
