Local doctor is offering a solution to parents to correct this problem
Henderson, NV; September 30, 2013 – Parents are often alarmed to learn that 60% of school
aged children will have some kind of backpack related pain. A backpack should weight no
more than 10% of a child's body weight, but backpacks can weigh up to 30% of a child's
weight. Having a backpack that fits properly, with the weight distributed properly will help
lessen back pain related to their backpacks.
Dr. Alexis Noggle, DC of The Joint Corp., a leading franchisor of chiropractic clinics, is providing
parents a solution to help protect their kids. The Joint – Henderson Sunset is a part of one of the
largest chiropractic wellness practices in the nation.
Parents are encouraged to bring their kids with their school backpbacks to Dr. Noggle and The
Joint on 5 October, 2013 for a FREE Backpack Safety Assessment. No appointment is necessary
and Dr. Noggle is seeing families from 10 AM to 4 PM.
“Our experience has shown that over 55% of kids are carrying a backpack that is too heavy for
them,” states Dr. Noggle. “Parents want to protect their kids from injury but often don't have
the data to understand what is right for their child.”
Each child will receive a postural analysis by Dr. Alexis Noggle at The Joint and the parent will
receive recommendations to protect their child from further injury do to their school backpacks.
“Henderson and the Las Vegas area have been so good to our clinic.” Dr. Noggle continues, “This
is just my way of giving back to the community.”

Noggle, D.C. Dr. Noggle is a licensed Chiropractor, who has been serving patients since 2011.
Dr. Noggle graduated with a Chiropractic Doctoral Degree from National University of
Health Services. Prior to obtaining her doctorate, she graduated with a Bachelors of Science
in Kinesiology from University of Nevada Las Vegas. She has a passion for teaching the
understanding of how regular chiropractic care influences the entire body. Along with her
educational accomplishments, Dr. Noggle enjoys networking in the Henderson community
