Silverado High School hosts an Operation Smile Walk-A-Thon

Operation Smile is a non-profit organization that raises money for children with cleft lips and palates. Last year, Silverado High School was first to start an Operation Smile club in Nevada. This year they have put together an Operation Smile Walk-A-Thon on May 8,2012 to spread awareness and raise money for children with cleft lips and palates. It start at 3:30pm and ends at 7:30pm. Entry fee is $5 for all CCSD student and employees with ID and is $7 to the general public (Liability waiver must be signed at the door). Silverado has open the Walk-A-Thon to the public and encourages the community to join. The Walk-A-Thon is perfect for all ages and thanks to our sponsors, there will also be free water, prizes, activities, and entertainment.
