Coronet Lighting Presents "Lamps as Art"

Coronet Lighting a California manufacturer of portable lighting for over 60 years, is collaborating with Pasadena's Art Center College of Design to create an exhibit of "Lamps as Art". Ceramics have been one of the most common forms of artistic expression for over 5,000 years and the talented students from the Art Center College Illustration Department are transforming Coronet's "Made In USA" ceramic lamps into unique objects of art. The exhibit will feature the work of 12 very talented students. The collection will be unveiled at the Hospitality Design Expo and Conference (Booth #5432) in Las Vegas, Nevada May 15-17, 2012. This collection emphasizes the vast creative opportunities for hospitality designers to specify lamps that are more than simply functional objects.
