Celiac Disease Patient Chosen as State Finalist

A local Celiac Disease patient, Mariah Sachse, being treated at the Children's Specialty Center of Nevada has been chosen as a State Finalist in the National American Miss Nevada Pageant to be held on July 7-8 at the beautiful JW Marriot Hotel in Las Vegas. Mariah will be participating in the Junior Teen division for girls ages 13-15, along with other outstanding young ladies from across the great state of Nevada. Mariah has previous fundraising experience with the Cure 4 the Kids Foundation, which was founded by one of her doctors at Children's Specialty Center, and is hoping that her participation in this pageant will bring awareness to a great foundation and inspire other kids to overcome obstacles and go after their dreams.
