Children’s Heart Center – Healthy Hearts Program Expansion & Open House.

On May 15, 2012 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM Children’s Heart Center will be hosting and Open House in celebration of the expansion of our Healthy Hearts Program.

The Healthy Hearts Program at Children’s Heart Center is Nevada’s most comprehensive and innovative childhood obesity treatment program. Physicians, Registered Dietitians, Exercise Physiologists, and a PhD Psychologist provide a multidisciplinary approach to treating what has become one of our nation’s greatest health challenges.

Children’s Heart Center has served Nevada for over 30 years. The expansion of our Healthy Hearts Program is part of our continued commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of children who are at risk for heart disease due to high cholesterol, hypertension, diabetes, and obesity.

The evening will include networking, a tour of our new facility, ribbon cutting by the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and healthy fare provided by Wolfgang Puck’s Lupo – Mandalay Bay.

Assemblywoman April Mastroluca will be attending to show her support. Other hopeful attendees include Senator Valerie Weiner, hospital administrators, insurance representatives as well as several pediatricians and family physicians.
