O Entertainment Announces Slate of Festivals for Summer/Fall 2012
The Long Beach Crawfish Festival (June 28th and 29th), The Orange County BBQ Bonanza
(August 17th to August 19th), the Long Beach Lobster Festival (September 7th to September 9th) and The Cowboy BBQ (October 5th to October 7th) in Henderson, Nevada.

Long Beach, CA…O Entertainment, Inc., the largest outdoor festival producer in Southern California is pleased to announce their slate of fun filled festivals for the summer/fall season of 2012. Roy Hassett, founder of O Entertainment, commented, “These festivals are about the celebration of life. Good Food, good friends, good music and good fun. We are also pleased to be expanding into Nevada this year with the first annual Cowboy BBQ in Henderson, Nevada.”

The 19th Annual Long Beach Crawfish Festival - July 28th and July 29th

The Long Beach Crawfish Festival, now in its 19th year, serves delicious Cajun Crawfish dinners, prepared Louisiana-style and spiced to perfection in the world’s largest crawfish steamers. The feast includes succulent red baby potatoes, buttery corn on the cob with creamy, delectable remoulade dipping sauce. Dance to rousing Cajun and Zydeco bands and join the Second Line Dancing Parade featuring New Orleans High Steppers. Enjoy the food, beach bars, culture and ambient lifestyle, including a children’s area, at the nation’s largest Crawfish Festival experience outside of Louisiana.

The festival runs from Noon to 11pm on Saturday, July 28th and Noon to 10pm on Sunday, July 29th, 2012.

Presale General Admission tickets are $13.00 or $15.00 at the gate. They include a free souvenir E-Photo. Presale Feast Admission tickets are $25.00 or $35.00 at the gate and include a free souvenir E- photo and Crawfish Feast. Presale Craw Bucket Admission tickets are $30.00 or $40.00 at the gate and include 3 lbs. of fresh live crawfish. Children under 12 are free, when accompanied by an adult. All United States active military personnel (Army Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard and Reservists) receive Free General Admission, with valid military identification.

Live Entertainment on the Main Stage on Saturday, July 28th begins at noon with A.J. Gibbs- The Mydeco King, Royale Garden Dixieland Band at 1pm, Bonne Musique Zydeco at 3pm, Andre Thierry & Zydeco Magic at 5pm and Cedryl Ballou and The Zydeco Trendsetters from 7pm to closing. Sunday’s lineup includes A.J. Gibbs-The Mydeco Dance King opening at noon, Bennie & The Swamp Gators at 1pm, Step Rideau & the Zydeco Outlaws at 3pm, Lil’ Brian & the Zydeco Travelers at 5pm and Waylon Thibodeaux at 7pm to closing. Both days feature special appearances by The Louisiana to LA Society Second Line Dancers led by Lewis Holt & The New Orleans High Steppers. Dance instructions A.J. Gibbs will be on-going during the event.

2nd Annual Orange County BBQ Bonanza - August 17th, 18th and 19th

The best BBQ chefs from around the country gather, for a the second time, to sell their award-winning ribs, chicken, sausage, pulled pork and other succulent delicacies. Judging and trophies are awarded to both amateur and professional participants. Two stages provide live entertainment for adults and children with artisan exhibitions and cantinas. Free admission. Menu items range from $2.00 to $25.00. Rib Village, All You Can Eat Tickets, with designated seating, are $65.00 for adults, $20.00 for kids from 12 to 16 years old and $10.00 for children up to 11 years old. Parking $5.00

The festival runs from 11am to 11pm on August 17th and 18th from Noon to 10pm on Sunday, August 19th.

Featured cookers for this years’ event are Porky-N-Beans, Howling Coyote Southwest BBQ, Cowboy’s Barbeque & Rib Company, Johnson’s Bar-B-Que, The Chicago BBQ Company and Tennessee Q.

The live entertainment lineup on Friday is A.J.Gibbs-The Mydeco Dance King, Bennie & The Swamp Gators at 4pm, Lazy Brad Lewis at 6pm and Texas House Party at 8pm to closing. Saturday’s lineup is A.J. Gibbs-The Mydeco Dance King, Texas House Party at 3pm, Lazy Brad Lewis at 5pm, Upstream at 7pm and Grand Junction from 9pm to closing. Sunday opens with A.J. Gibbs-The Mydeco Dance King, Grand Junction at 3pm, Bill Magee Blues Band at 5pm and Texas House Party, 7pm to closing.

Original Long Beach Lobster Festival – September 7th, 8th and 9th

The 16th annual three day festival features Maine Lobster, flown in nightly from the icy waters of the salty Atlantic Ocean. The Lobster dinners are steamed to perfection and include sweet, succulent lobster, melted butter for dipping sauce, fresh cut lemons, coleslaw, dinner rolls and watermelon. An International food court, beach bars, arts and crafts booths, amazing live entertainment, dancing and a special children’s area create an authentic east coast Lobster love-fest in Southern California.

The event runs from 5pm to 11pm on Friday, September 7th, Noon to 11pm on Saturday, September 8th and Noon to 10pm on Sunday, September 9th.
