Local Las Vegan sets Guinness World Record

Local Las Vegan and WCF World Chess Champion Stan Vaughan has set a new Guinness World Record with 110 blindfold simultaneous chess games. While blindfolded the moves of his opponents were called out with algebraic notation coordinates and without sight of any chess board, vaughan replied with his moves which were relayed to each board The event took place over 37 hours from Feb 5-7, 2012. Vaughan then gave a blindfold knights tour of the 64 squares of the board without touching any square twice then afterwards logged on to chess.com and won a 5 minute blitz swiss tournament despite his fatigue.
