Mexican filmmaker making Superhero Sci-Fi in Las Vegas.
Joaquin Rodriguez is the Writer and Director of Time Warrior, an independent feature film entirely filmed in Las Vegas that aims to reach Hollywood levels.
A group of immigrant filmmakers supported by an American producer recently finished a high-quality Sci-Fi feature film produced entirely in Las Vegas.
The first screening of this movie will take place this coming Thursday 23th at 9:00 at the Century Suncoast 16 cinemas located inside of the Suncoast Casino.
"Time Warrior" is an 92-minute masterfully produced Sci-fi action-adventure feature film, carefully crafted to target the full teenage and gamer market of ages 12 to 35. Since it contains no blood, guts, gore, strong language, sex or extreme violence, it allows for a larger audience reach.
The movie was planned from the beginning as a movie franchise. It leaves the door open for a more powerful sequel to be created in the near future or it can be a great platform for a remake.
The key commercial elements of TW movie are:
New, fresh, current and super cool superhero.
Video game based.
Video game concept attached.
Limitless licensing opportunities.
The movie has superb VFX and CGI effects. This movie has a look, feel and quality well above many independent films, thanks to the excellent work of Exodo Digital works and Jaime Jasso. Mr. Jasso was the matte painter of our VFX team. He is also a collaborator with major icons, working on video game cinematics, television, commercials, and blockbuster feature films such as : AVATAR, IRON MAN 2, TRANSFORMERS 3, RANGO, SUPER 8, MASS EFFECT 2, HALO WARS and many more.
Writer and Director Joaquin Rodriguez commented:
Is my sincere hope that this project can bring positive things to Las Vegas filmmaking community.
