Local Medical Group donates thousands to 'At Risk' Elementary School

A North Las Vegas 'at risk' elementary school is all set to begin a new school year well stocked with paper, pencils and other items for students, thanks to help from a local medical group.
The donation comes from The Neck and Back Clinics, a local business with eight offices valley-wide, who adopted Martinez Elementary School in North Las Vegas and held a 'Back to School' supplies drive, involving their employees and patients.
Martinez Elementary will receive thousands of dollars in notebooks, crayons, markers, glue, copy paper and other items necessary to support the teachers and students of the Title 1 school. Principal Tim Adams will accept the donation on Friday, August 24th at 11:00 am in the Multi-Purpose Room of Martinez Elementary School, 350 E Judson Ave
In addition, the Neck and Back Clinics will hold a food drive in October and November to benefit the students of Martinez and their families.
