Local Las Vegas Comedians to Raise Funds for Family's Stolen Moving Truck
The Lovelady family from Portland, Oregon had an unwelcome arrival during the move to Las Vegas when their 26 foot moving truck and the majority of its contents were trashed and stolen. Local area comedian Michael Shank found this news story on Channel 13 and has organized a stand-up comedy show fundraising event for the family. Michael is working with TickleMe Entertainment to sponsor the event on Friday, August 24 at the Las Vegas Grille at 7:30 pm located at 7865 W. Sahara and Buffalo Road.
"The family has two kids and all of their stuff was stolen. I have two kids of my own and I can sympathize with what they are going through right now," said Michael Shank.
Michael Shank and the TickleMe Entertainment company will be organizing and producing the show for the Lovelady Family. All proceeds will go to the family.
“We want to show the Lovelady family that Las Vegas does welcome them with open arms," remarked TickleMe Entertainment Events Director Phil Peredo. "And if we can put a smile on their face after this terrible incident and raise some funds while we're at it, we know we're doing what we're meant to do as comedians.”
