Las Vegas Premium Outlets-North expansion nears completion; five shops open at Container Park

This month, downtown Las Vegas and Downtown Summerlin welcome two new restaurants while another eatery reopens in McCarran International Airport after some groovy renovations.

Plus: Downtown Container Park opens five new stores and Las Vegas Premium Outlets-North announces 33 new shops.

    • Glutton

      Glutton opened Friday on Carson Avenue across from Downtown Container Park, according to a media release.

      The restaurant will feature a wood-burning oven and offer dishes like buffalo-style sweetbreads with pickled celery and whipped bleu cheese and lamb neck sugo with smoked pappardelle, according to a media release.

      Dinner hours are from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. They will begin serving lunch April 20 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

    • Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar

      Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar has opened their first location outside of California in Downtown Summerlin.

      The upscale, casual dining restaurant will offer comfort foods like pizza and several handcrafted cocktails, according to a media release.

      They are open 11 a.m. to midnight Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to midnight Saturday and Sunday. They will also offer a happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and from 9 p.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday.

      Downtown Container Park

      Earlier this month, Downtown Container Park welcomed five new tenants: Max Luxx, San Miguel Trading Company, Monocle Optical, Teazled and Beasley Media Group, according to a media release.

    • Ruby's Diner

      Ruby’s Diner, which originally opened in 1998, has reopened inside McCarran International Airport after closing for remodeling earlier this year, according to a media release.

      Although the '60s décor may look a little different, the diner still offers familiar dishes like burgers, fries and shakes.

      It is open from 4:15 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily

    • Las Vegas Premium Outlets-North

      Las Vegas Premium Outlets-North will offer shoppers 33 new retailers and restaurants beginning May 14, according to a media release.

      As part of the 150,000 square foot expansion project, the mall will welcome the Cheesecake Factory, Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th, Vera Bradley, and Last Call Neiman Marcus, among other retail giants, according to the release.
