Ramen shop moves into the Ogden; paint studio comes to Henderson

Two new restaurants and a bar opened this month for anyone looking to get a little boozy in cool, local spots.

Plus: A wine and canvas studio expands their national presence with their first Las Vegas studio.

    • Itsy Bitsy Ramen and Whisky

      An intimate Asian restaurant and bar has opened in the base of the Ogden, 150 Las Vegas Blvd. North, according to a media release.

      Itsy Bitsy will offer create-your-own ramen bowls, letting customers pick their own noodles, broth and toppings. They will also offer a large beverage menu with cocktails created by Daniel Marohnic.

      Itsy Bitsy is open for lunch and dinner daily with late night service on select nights.

    • PKWY Tavern Taphouse and Grille

      Jonathan Fine, owner of PBR Rock Bar & Grill and Rockhouse, has opened PKWY Tavern Taphouse and Grille at 9820 W. Flamingo Road, near the 215 Beltway, according to a media release.

      The 28,000 square-foot space will offer American comfort food and 250 beers, ranging in price from $2 a pint to $90 a bottle, according to the release. The new off-Strip venture is locals-driven and will offer a loyalty club program called T.E.A.M.

    • Wine & Design

      The first Wine & Design studio in Las Vegas, at 6535 N. Buffalo Drive Suite #120 and #130, near U.S. 95, will celebrate their grand opening May 1, according to a media release.

      The ceremony, which will be from 3-6 p.m., is free and open to the public, with painting classes beginning at 6:30 p.m.

      One studio will offer nightly painting classes, private events and corporate team building sessions. The other will offer children's camps and Mommy and Me outings.

    • Blaze Pizza

      Blaze Pizza, a California-based, fast casual pizza joint, will open next month in Henderson at 10520 South Eastern Ave., near Horizon Ridge Parkway, according to a media release.

      Known for their chef-driven menu, Blaze Pizza will offer items like salads, blood orange lemonade and s’mores pies. To create an interactive and custom experience, the restaurant has an assembly line in which customers can create their own pizzas atop dough made from scratch, according to the release.
